Your privacy and your Prayer Room
What never leaves your phone, what an account keeps, who sees what, and how blocking and reporting work.
Updated
Your time with God is personal. Here is what happens to your information.
Never leaves your phone
- Your Prayer Room: your prayer list, answered prayers and testimony notes. You can lock it with your fingerprint, and its reminder never shows what you wrote.
- Your notes and saved verses
- Your written answers in Behind this chapter
- Your answers to the first questions when you set up the app
What your account keeps
Your name and username, the days you completed, your Seeds and unlocks, your friends and groups, your Sword Drills, rooms and Journeys, and your Seek and Find conversations (for 90 days). Signing in is handled by Google's Firebase. You can download or delete it all.
Who sees what
- Friends see your name, username, streak and badges. You can hide your streak in Settings → Show my streak to friends.
- In a live room, people only see your display name.
- In a church group, members see each other's names and progress in the group.
Anonymous usage counts
The app counts things like how often the verse is read, to help us improve Christlike. These counts never include your name or anything from your Prayer Room, and you can turn them off in Settings → Share anonymous usage stats.
Ages
Accounts are for people aged 13 and up, or older where local law requires it. Christlike is not directed at children under 13.
Ads
Christlike may show ads; Sowers don't see ads.
Blocking and reporting
Open someone's profile, tap ⋯, then Block or Report. Blocking is silent and works both ways. Reports go to the Christlike team, and nobody is told who reported them.
Who we are
Christlike is made by Billiminds. Write to us at [email protected].
