Word Quest, Sword Drill and the Daily Drill
The three ways to play with God's Word: on your own, against a friend, and a few questions each day.
Updated
Games are a joyful way to keep God's Word close.
Word Quest
A Bible quiz you play on your own. Choose 5, 10, 20 or 50 questions, the Old Testament, the New Testament or both, and a difficulty. Finishing a Word Quest counts for Your day when it is in your plan, and the first one each day earns Seeds.
Sword Drill
A friendly duel with a friend:
- Choose a friend and play first: 5 questions, each with a time limit.
- A right answer scores 10 points, plus a small bonus for answering quickly. Take the time you need to read.
- Your friend has 24 hours to play the same questions in the same order.
- The most points wins. Equal points is a draw. If a turn runs out of time, nobody wins.
A win can earn Seeds, for up to 3 wins a day, once per friend a day. You can have one Sword Drill going with each friend.
Daily Drill
A few quick questions each day, in different styles: fill the gap, finish the verse, which book, who said it, put the words in order, and find the place on the map. Your first round each day earns Seeds; more rounds are practice. The Daily Drill doesn't change your day or your streak.
