Church groups
Join your church or Bible study with its code, start a group of your own, and use the leader's tools.
Updated
A church group brings your church, youth fellowship or Bible study together in Christlike.
Joining a group
Ask your leader for the group's code (8 letters and numbers, like G7KQ-3MPX), or tap the invite link they share. In the app, open You → Church groups → Join with a code. You can be in up to 10 groups.
What you get together
- A group leaderboard of the week's growth and streaks
- Group journeys: the leader starts a journey and everyone does the daily lesson on their own phone, seeing how many finished today
- The encouragement wall: share a verse, a thank-you or a word of hope (up to 280 characters), and say Amen to others' posts
Starting a group
Open You → Church groups → Start a group. You can start a group once you have completed 3 days, and lead up to 3 groups. A group can have up to 200 members.
Leader's tools
- Rename the group or change its code (the old code and links stop working; members stay)
- Remove a member (they can't join again with the code)
- Remove posts from the wall
- Delete the group
If you leave a group you lead, the member who has been in it longest becomes its leader.
Keeping groups kind
Links and phone numbers can't be posted on the wall. Anyone can report a post or a group, and the Christlike team looks at every report.
