Grow together
Your church, growing together, one code away.
A church group is a shared space for a congregation, a youth group or a Bible study. One code to join, a leaderboard by growth, Journeys you do together with "14 of 20 finished today", and an encouragement wall where an Amen is one tap away.
What you get
One code to join
An 8-character code like G7KQ-3MPX, or a link. Share it from the pulpit or the WhatsApp group.
A group leaderboard
By growth this week, all time or by streak. Members choose whether their streak shows.
Group Journeys
A leader starts a Journey; everyone does the same lesson; the group sees who finished today.
Encouragement wall
Short posts and Amen reactions. Leaders can remove posts; phone numbers are refused.
Leaders in control
Rename, new code, remove members, remove posts. Our team reviews reports.
Private where it matters
Members see public details only: never prayers, notes or practice answers.
Set up in a minute
Create the group in You → Groups, give it a name and a short description, and share the code or the invite link. People who tap the link and install Christlike land in the group once they have an account; people who already have the app type the code. Leaders can issue a new code any time, and the old one stops at once.
A Journey for the whole group
Pick a seven-day Journey, start it for the group, and everyone gets the same lesson each day on their own phone. The group page shows how many finished today, and the wall is right there for a word of encouragement. Members who join late catch up at their own pace.
Safe and simple to run
Every group has a leader; if a leader leaves, the longest-standing member takes over. Block and report work inside groups as everywhere else. Our team can see a group’s name, description and member list (public details only) to handle reports, and can ask a leader to rename a group.
Questions about church groups & group journeys
How do I add friends?
Search for your friend's exact @username, share your invite link, or let them scan your QR code at church. When someone joins with your link you are connected straight away.
Every friend is also a streak buddy: you can see who has checked in today and send a friendly nudge.
How do I start a church group?
Open You → Church groups → Start a group. You can start one once you have completed 3 days, and you can lead up to 3 groups.
Share the group's code with the people you want to invite. As the leader you can rename the group, change its code and remove members.
Can people message me privately?
No. Christlike has no private chat between people. In church groups, members can post short words of encouragement on the group's wall.
Links and phone numbers are not allowed there, leaders can remove posts, and anyone can report one.
How big can a group be?
There is no small limit; a whole congregation can join one group.
Can someone be in more than one group?
Yes: your church, your youth group and your Bible study can each have their own.
Can leaders see members’ prayers?
Never. Prayer Room entries stay on each person’s phone. Leaders see public details: username, display name, streak (unless hidden) and growth.
